COVID-19 has impacted us all profoundly, and we realize our collective desired return to normalcy can only be fueled by research at unique places like the Hauptman-Woodward Institute and its passionate leaders. During a period of unprecedented challenge, we embarked on a bold new vision to bring Cryo-Electron Microscopy to the Institute. Generational investments were made in our facilities and equipment, world-class scientific and business development leadership were recruited and relocated to Buffalo, and local, regional, and global collaborations were and are being forged at an accelerating rate.
