Six Session Intensive Professional Development Program for Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute

What is the HWI Young Professionals program?

HWI Young Professionals is a six session program that engages young professionals focused on building community support for Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute.

Members will have an opportunity to develop skills over the course of these sessions in areas such as networking, fundraising skills, board development, and community development. This cohort of young professionals will become ambassadors for Hauptman-Woodward in the community and help raise critical funds to advance our mission.

For more than 60 years the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute (HWI) has been a leading force in structural biology to improve human health by studying the cause of diseases like Cancer, as well as potential therapies

What is the timeline for the HWI Young Professionals program?

HWI YP begins in early 2024 and concludes in the fall when participants will be recognized for their hard work and fundraising.

What are the Expectations of HWI YP?

Participants are asked to fundraise a minimum of $1,000 toward our signature “Brewing Science” event.
