We offer a high school apprenticeship program. This unique opportunity gives high school students the opportunity to study evolution and bioinformatics in the laboratory of Hauptman Distinguished Scientist, Dr. WIlliam L. Duax. Past participants have competed in science fairs, been admitted to prestigious colleges and universities, and earned scholarships.
Students who are accepted into the program will be given flexibility with their schedule. Students may work Fridays, after school, or during part of their summer vacation.
The Roy Carver Foundation and donations from various supporters sponsor the high school program.
