You are invited to the virtual pop-up restaurant Cuisine de Laboratoire for home cooking classes with your favorite local chefs and celebrities to support Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute, COVID-19 research and other diseases that impact members of our community.

Here is how it works:

Purchase a produce box for two or four people.

The box is delivered via contactless delivery along with the paired beverage to your door.

Inside the box will be a menu and recipe card. Tune in or watch the episode later at your leisure.

The best part is that your participation will take place via Zoom in the comfort of your own home kitchen!

Alexa Joan Wajed

Alexa Joan Wajed is a Buffalo born creative entrepreneur and an Alumnus of City Honors High School. She is a visual artist, trained chef and jewelry designer. She is co-founder of Eat Off Art,  a multi-dimensional agency, platform and affirmation all-in-one, providing transformative experiences through creativity, food and art. Eat Off Art (https://www.EatOffArt.com) began as a mantra to counter the adage of the “starving artist.” The main intent of Eat Off Art is to inspire others through our crafts, passions and endeavors to believe that there is a way to be successful, sustainable and profitable as artists, especially married artists, with creative children in tow.

Alexa received her bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Canisius College and participated in a semester abroad in Bulle, Switzerland. After many years in the corporate sector, Alexa returned back to school to earn an additional degree in culinary arts and had the unique opportunity to have an internship on the Amalfi Coast in Positano, Italy for 10 weeks. 

Currently, Alexa is an adjunct professor at a local College, a mother of two creative young men and makes time to serve a faithful and growing clientele as a personal chef. She enjoys helping people understand and adopt healthy eating habits, mentoring the youth and creating abstract art along with unique hand painted jewelry which is sold online and in some local gift shops and galle

Ticket Prices:

  • $150 dinner box for two with a bottle of wine for one session
  • $225 dinner box with two bottles of wine for four for one session
  • $50 Remote participant (2 people)
