Why were you interested in helping HWI?
Working with HWI is an opportunity to exercise my curiosity in an industry that is removed from my day to day activities. One of the most gripping elements of the organization is its willingness to collaborate and share research capabilities and medical instruments, with neighboring institutions, symbolizing an authentic stride to heal the community.
Why does research matter to you?
Research matters to me because I have witnessed its crucial utilization and need in the lives of loved ones. Though I am more of a social scientist, as Jill Szczesek our HWI COO often mentions, there is a myriad of opportunities for anyone to be active in the movement of medical research. I believe it is important that we as members of society, be willing to contribute in any way to enhance the health and lives of others.
