Maxwell Kahn, Attorney

Maxwell Kahn was born and raised in Buffalo. Following high school, he attended the University of Michigan; and later, the University of Alabama School of Law where he received is J.D./LL.M in Taxation. Max worked for one year at the University of Alabama Office of Counsel. He recently moved back to Buffalo where he is a practicing Attorney who currently serves on the HWI YP, the Family Justice Center Junior Board, and the Amherst Traffic and Safety Board.

Why were you interested in helping HWI?

HWI offers a unique opportunity to provide cutting edge medical research that can truly benefit society. As someone who is truly dedicate to the Buffalo area, getting involved with HWI allows me to help those in need who are suffering from various illnesses.

Why does research matter to you?

I believe medical research is not only beneficial aspect to society, but a crucial one. In 2012, my father, Dennis Kahn, passed away from a rare form of cancer. Accordingly, the research that HWI provides holds a very special place in my heart.
