Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute (HWI), an international leader in structural biology, announced that Jill K. Bond and Richard C. Hamister have been elected to the organization’s board of directors.

Bond is Senior Vice President/General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer at Rich Products Corporation. She is responsible for leading a legal team that oversees all legal affairs for the global frozen foods manufacturer and supplier and its subsidiaries around the world. Bond is also responsible for the formulation and enforcement of the company’s Standards of Business Conduct, as well as for compensation and benefit design and implementation, payroll, and Associate services. A dedicated community volunteer, she serves on the boards of directors for the Women’s Foodservice Forum, the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, Legal Services for the Elderly, Disabled and Disadvantaged, and the Canisius College Board of Regents.

A commercial banking executive and community leader, Hamister is the New York State Regional President for Northwest Bank. He oversees 34 full-service bank branches and more than 300 employees across New York State, and leads the efforts to grow Northwest Bank’s presence and profitability across the state. He has more than 35 years’ experience in financial services. Hamister has been involved with several community organizations throughout the past 20 years, including the Alzheimer’s Association, Hilbert College, Leadership Buffalo, and the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce.
