Why are you interested in helping HWI?

As a born and raised Buffalonian, I am excited by the advancements and achievements taking place in my city. I recognize this unique opportunity to be a part of a pioneering young professionals group for HWI. Given this opportunity, I hope to bring more community awareness about the accomplishments and ongoing work at HWI. Buffalo has an incredible resource right here in our own neighborhood and it’s time more people know about it and the important work taking place there that not only impacts our own community but the world!

Why does research matter to you?

As cliché as it may sound, we have to know where we’ve been to know where we want to go. Working in process improvement, I can appreciate the importance of research and understanding how things operate currently. More importantly, I can appreciate how that research and understanding translates into innovation and improvement for future operations. Research allows us to grow and adapt so that we may not only survive but thrive as we move forward into the future.
